Christian Zamor
Christian Zamor is an exemplary student-athlete on and off the field.  Christian excels off the field and in the classroom with his 4.0 core GPA.  If he is not studying for class or doing homework you will catch him at lunch watching film on our next opponent. As one our captains on the team he is an amazing representative for what Everett Football stands for. 

He works extremely hard for everything he has received along with his natural abilities and talents. Christian leads our team in tackles, interceptions, total yards, and is second on the team in sacks. His knowledge of the game is through the roof, and he continues to rise to the occasion as each week passes. Christian has an extremely strong foundation and will continue to succeed in life as he paves his own path led by his faith.   

Citation of Achievement Awards
Yasmine Laabadla
Everett High School senior Yasmine Laabadla is the 2023 student recipient   of the Civic Achievement Award.  As you will shortly learn, she is precisely the kind of student-athlete the E-Club wants to highlight and support.

To start, we do not have the time to list all of Yasmine’s achievements and accolades. Trust me when I say the oft-stated term “well rounded” does not do justice to the breadth and depth of her success as a member of our community.

Yasmine is ranked fourth in the Class of 2024 and is a finalist for a prestigious Questbridge Scholarship. She was the captain of the Crimson Tide volleyball team, which earned a spot in the 2023 MIAA State Tournament with a record of 10-8.  She will compete in track this winter before wrapping up the year by serving as a return captain for the EHS tennis team.

Her contributions in academic and civic realms are equally impressive. She is a Student Ambassador, a member of the Key Club, Latin Club, History Club, and Wave Club; she serves on the Prom Committee; and she is a member of the Theater Company.

Jasmine is an intern for both the Cambridge Health Alliance and the Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences — or CURE — program. She also represented Everett as a Scholar at the Health Professions Recruitment and Exposure Program and as an Ambassador to Project 351.

Stacy Schiavo
Stacy Schiavo has been a dedicated teacher in the Everett Public Schools for 27 years. She has been coaching softball for 26 years in Everett. Stacy is   proud graduate of Everett High School and continuously gives back to the community. When you think of someone who bleeds red for Everett you think of Stacy Schiavo!

Stacy volunteered at the Everett Grace Food Pantry during Covid and was inspired at the outpouring of generosity of the Everett community. She put that generosity to work and with the help of retired firefighter Joe MacLauglin and her husband Mike raised funds, purchased, and assembled and then delivered desks to over 350 EPS students.  Stacy is not only a winner in the community but also on the softball diamond as she has accumulated 330 wins in her coaching career.  But even bigger and more important than the wins are the relationships that she has built with her players over the years.  Stacy does not just build a team but forms a family every year. 

Richard Mangerian
Richard Mangerian was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a graduate of Everett High School.  He earned his B.A. at Northeastern University and his master’s degree and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from Boston University. Dick was a dedicated educator as he spent his career giving back to the City of Everett. First as a teacher and then as a Principal at the Parlin Junior High School with a combined 35 years in Everett Public Schools.  

Dick’s second passion was football. Whether he was coaching or watching he had an enthusiasm for the sport. Dick was very generous in donating his time, knowledge, and motivation to athletes.  Dick was all about the student athlete. He supported the student from the sideline, the stands and even locker rooms with an inspiration quote, usually pertaining to “EVERETT PRIDE”! If you were a coach and received an inspirational letter from Dick Mangerian with a $20 bill to buy the team oranges, you knew you were doing something right.  Thank you, Dick, for all you have done for our past student athletes and how you have inspired others to coach and lead the student athletes of the future.

Dave Erlandson
David grew up in North Everett, near Edith Street Park, and was a resident   of Everett for almost three decades. He attended Everett public schools and   graduated from Everett Senior High School in 1976. After high school he   graduated from Wentworth Institute with a degree in electrical engineering.   Working as a Master Electrician for several years, He eventually found a way to Lesley University in Cambridge, first working as Physical Plant Director, and then eventually VP of Real Estate and Operations.

During his time at Lesley, he acquired another degree from Wentworth Institute, and a master’s degree from Lesley University.  David left Lesley after 16 years of service and went to the Broad Institute in Kendall Square, Cambridge during the early stages of life science development in Kendall Square. David was Senior Director of Facilities for 21 years expanding the research campus eightfold. David retired from the Board in May of 2023.
